This was from a photo I took on Christmas Eve, 2019. It reminds me to slow down and notice the beauty that surrounds us. No, I was NOT driving when I took it, safety first! It also reminds me of the progress I’ve made on my new journey into illustration, the website, blogging and creating new art. Slow and steady, don’t rush things, notice everything. This beautiful Christmas Eve gift was the prettiest sundown I’ve seen in a long time and it felt like a Christmas gift in itself.
I’ve made progress in my webpage (just keep playing around with it) and with my patience in not trying to get it all done and sacrificing quality. I’ve made contacts and joined SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writing and Illustration) for networking, news and helpful information in general. It’s been rewarding to do the research, honestly. That’s actually my favorite part in new ventures, the research and exploration into new things! Keep coming back!
